Manic Monday Random Post

As many of you know, I'm starting a new job today! I couldn't be more excited to re-enter the work force! As it turns out, house wifery just isn't for me, but I've had a nice long break which was good! I'm so excited to get back into the swing of things! I chose my nail polish for my first day last night. I decided on OPI Get Me to the Taj on Time. It's a lovely light pink color and very neutral. It seemed appropriate last night since it was our 2 year anniversary and I wore this color for our wedding!

I got this adorable card from a friend in the mail. I just had to share a photo! She's a great pal and believe it or not, I met her through Twitter and she'd been reading my blog all along. The internet is powerful these days, I tell ya!

I decided to try this last week. It's an ironing water that you put into your iron as you would with regular tap water. It makes your clothes smell good and it prevents lime scale deposits, which I'd been having trouble with in my iron. The lime scale was coming out when I used the steam and I ruined one of my favorite tops. I really like Comfort Vaporess Ironing water, but when I first got it and read the directions, I realized I would need to descale my iron.

This is a photo taken on a white towel I used to descale the iron with. These kinds of spots came out of the iron all over this towel. It's so gross! I don't know if this is a problem for those of you in the US, but if you're living in England, I'd highly recommend descaling your iron with Scale Away and using Comfort Vaporess Ironing Water! The descaling took me about an hour, but it was worth it and now my iron works perfectly!
