Pink Julep Abroad

I have been hinting for sometime now about new exciting changes! Well, the secret is out now! My husband and I are planning to move to London, England this fall! I've been bursting to share this secret, but had to zip my lip until certain things were sorted out. Now I'm just waiting for my visa to come through (fingers crossed!) and we'll be on our way!



And with a change like this, I just had to give my blog the proper facelift it deserves!

I searched high and low for the perfect people to work with on the new design for this blog and I'm so pleased with how it turned out!

The custom header was created by Dawn at Lydia & Pugs, an online stationery and accessories boutique. Dawn was super easy to work with and she created just what I wanted based on some inspiration photos I sent her and my endless ramblings. I'm not really sure how she took my words and designed exactly what I wanted, but she did! I highly recommend Lydia & Pugs for custom blog headers and I'm looking forward to working with Dawn in the near future to create some personalized stationery! Check out her blog as well! The layout, background and colors on Pink Julep Abroad were all designed by Jessica Graves of Front Porch Studio. Jess is amazing at what she does! Again, I just muttered some words like Pucci, pink, turquoise and misshapen polka dots and she came up with this design! I don't know how she does it! Also, the entire process was easy, well-explained and calm. Even though I frantically and impatiently sometimes e-mailed her twice a day, remained cool and accomodating and for that I am very grateful! Also, Jess has a way of sorting out something you didn't even know you wanted... I like that! I found Front Porch Studios through her blog The Love List, which I've been following for a long time. I'm excited about this change and all the new adventures that lie ahead! I look forward to sharing them!
