Pink Julep in the Cinema: The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

I just watched this film on cable and it's really good! I'll warn you though, get out your tissues because it's a toughy! Vera Farmiga serves up a performance that's as touching as she is beautiful in her 1940's costume!

Set during WWII in Germany, the story centers around a little boy, the child of a German Commander, who befriends a little Jewish boy being kept in a concentration camp. They meet each other at the fence and forge a bond, but the consequences are unmentionable.

The film is less than 2 hours long and it's totally worth watching!
