I Start Monday!

I got the job!

As you may recall, I said in a previous post that I had some good news coming about work and that I would give details when it was official. Well, its official! I was hired as an HR Assistant at our company headquarters and in addition to the promotion, raise, and fabulous benefits.. they are paying for all of my gas AND my graduate tuition :-) I am beyond excited. They have also let me know that there will be HR Management positions opening up within the next couple of years so they are "investing" in me. Did I mention that one of those positions opening up is in Siesta Key, FL? Just saying. :-)

Anyway, I'm so very excited for my new job! Its another step in my found career path, and I could not be happier about it. I start Monday!

As for this weekend, today I am driving to grandparents' and picking my littlest sister along the way (they are back in town doing some final things with the old house). We're going to Arts & Apples with grandma, of course watching some Michigan football with grandpa, and my dad and step-mom will join us later for dinner. I'll be spending the night with them which of course means a fabulous and huge breakfast in the garden tomorrow morning. My grandparents are quite the chefs and they never dissappoint, yumm! And, in the spirit of the festival this weekend, you KNOW I'll be having some of this..
