On Saturday we met some relatives for cocktails at The Gilt Lounge in the Jumeira Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge. This little hot spot is one of London's true gems! It's beautifully decorated in champagne colors and as cozy as can be!
My husband and I opted to try the signature cocktail, the 1961, which is a champagne based cocktail. One of the ingredients is gold dust - very fabulous! The cocktail is a little sweet for my taste, but all together lovely. Ladies, beware: the gold dust around the rim of the glass sticks to lipstick!
If you need to impress some guests in London, I would highly recommend the Gilt Lounge! It's a great, quiet spot for a cocktail or a glass of wine in the city. The presentation is beautiful, the service is attentive and the ambiance is very chic!
