Poncho Question

I love ponchos! I just got this one from H&M and it's fab! I can't wait to wear it, but I can't figure out what type of shirt I should wear underneath it. I'm not much of a turtleneck girl, so that's out and I'm not loving it over this button down plaid top... looks too bulky.

So I'm calling all fashionistas... what should I wear underneath this poncho?
