OOTD: Snow Day

It was freeeeeezing yesterday! It also starts getting dark around 4 or 4:30 every day and obviously, it's a little colder when it's dark! So I knew when hubs asked me to meet him after work for some light shopping that I should probably dress really warm!

And while I was walking around in this...

And later... this, I was snuggly warm and my feet were dry! Pink Julep Tip: when I wear my Hunter Welly Socks, I wear another pair of socks underneath for ultimate warmth and to keep my Hunter socks nice!

We had a great time on Kensington High Street, stopping at McDonald's for Cheese Melts (mmmm my favorite!) and coffee. Then we got hubs a pair of winter boots to wear while commuting (he'll then change into his fancy shoes at work) and some warm things like. He's always cold! I did take the opportunity to have a look in Uniqlo! I picked up a navy argyle cardigan on sale as well as 2 pairs of Heat Tech Knit Leggings which were also on sale! Now I know I asked for these for Christmas, but I need warmth and you can never have too many leggings! I also didn't get the printed ones as I'm hoping Santa will leave those under our tree! *wink wink* I'm going to test them out tonight if we go ice skating as planned!
