To wear or not to wear!

The J. Crew Baird McNutt Linen Suit Vest and Slacks

This is the look we are aiming for for L and for his groomsmen. This is absolutely the color we want, and we want the vest with matching dress pant. Our reservations about going with this J. Crew piece are #1- the slacks are a little short for L's liking. And, #2- The material is linen and we are worried that it will wrinkle and look disheveled very quickly (the pants).

My questions to you all is- Do you have any experience with linen men's wear and do you know of any other retailer that would have something very similar in a different material?
