Happy Nurse's Day!

Happy Nurse's Day to all of the men and women who wake up each day, put on their scrubs, and go to work in hospitals, clinics, battle-fields, nursing homes, and so many other areas, to selflessly save lives and make those who are sick better, more comfortable, and happier. Nurses all over the world deserve a big hug not only today, but everyday!

I give my favorite nurse a hug everyday! He is amazing at what he does and I know how much he touches the lives of his patients in the ICU every time he "suits up" and heads in! He totally devotes 100% of himself to each and every one of his patients. He has always said "I treat each and every patient like they are a member of my own family." From the countless thank-you cards, gifts, and big hugs he has received from patients and family members, there is no doubt that he treats each of them exactly so! I'm proud of him everyday, and I admire him for dedicating his career to helping others, not only to live, but to be able to be comfortable and to smile during the time that they do have alive. God gave him a gift for helping others in their time of need, and I know he smiles over him each time he touches a life.

I am so blessed to have so many wonderful nurses in my life! My fiance, my grandmother, my future mother-in-law, my Aunt, my Uncle, and several friends! I wish I could give each of you a hug today! Thank you for everything you do!! :o)
