New York, here we come!

The day has arrived! We are all set to head out East for L's brother's graduation from West Point. The weather is supposed to be beautiful, but even bad weather can't take away from the natural beauty of that place. The Hudson River valley is absolutely gorgeous and we are staying in a home right in town. The actual ceremony takes place on Saturday at the football stadium. Its completely open to the public so I'm expecting a gigannntic crowd! I heard that lots of parents bring their kids in to try to catch one of the thousands of cadet hats that are thrown at the end of the ceremony. We will also be attending a formal dinner at the academy on Friday evening. We are all really looking forward to the exciting weekend, and also for a little bit of downtime. Friday the boys have plans to golf, so that means shopping time for L's mom, his other brother's girlfriend, and I. :-)
