I love the sparkly mini-skirt trend! But I think there is a fine line between glittery chic and Bob Mackey Vegas showgirl overdose! I would be very interested in trying on a shiny mini and if I were going to wear one, I'd make it the centerpiece! Everything else should blend in so this piece is the statement and not competing with anything else!

Try pairing a glitzy skirt with a solid neutral top, neutral tights and booties. Keep the jewelry minimal and in the same color scheme. Bags and shoes should be fairly classic as in this set with a conservative style bootie and a crocodile bag.

Nothing says classy like a crisp white shirt! And you don't have to hide your great white shirt underneath a v-neck or wear it with jeans and penny loafers. Sharon Stone made an iconic statement on the red carpet once by wearing a white button down with a long black ball gown type skirt. You can also rock this trend by pairing a white shirt with a jewel toned solid sparkly mini and accessorizing with jewelry in the same color! This is my favorite way to wear this trend! I think it's sexy and chic! And with the white shirt, you can experiment with a statement necklace that compliments the color scheme.
