Lush Product Review

If you have been reading for a while, you know that I'm a huge fan of LUSH!!! Everything is fresh (it even has an expiration date!), handmade and natural! The products all smell like heaven and I swear, I almost get stoned on the fab aromas in their stores! I've been using the shower gels and bath bombs for quite a while, but occasionally I like to branch out and try a new product. A while back I bought a few things and now with our move coming so soon and having so little space in our luggage, I'm trying to use up the products I have accumulated before we go!

I finally tried my LUSH Sugar Babe scrub...

I was a little skeptical of this to be honest. Sugar and salt scrubs never turn out to be as fab as you expect and many of them leave you with an oily film on your skin afterwards or they simply evaporate and don't scrub at all, so it's a waste of time and money! Sugar Babe is the exception to the rule! This is a little ball of exfoliation heaven! It totally works!!! It also didn't irritate my skin or leave that nasty film corrosion behind... the smell is light and sweet and the texture is exactly what you expect from a sugar scrub. Also, this is really easy to use... once wet, the granules start coming off in your hand and you can easily then start rubbing them on your skin. I love this product!

I also decided to give solid shampoo another try and bought this Jumpin Juniper Shampoo Bar. I have had this hidden away for travel emergencies, but now that I'm using it, I love it! I haven't liked very many of the solid shampoos I've tried in the past because I couldn't get enough lather from them and it made me feel like my hair didn't get clean enough. But this Jumpin Juniper packs a kickin lather, a very light pleasant scent and the best thing about it is that it's small and compact. It's also a solid, so it can easily be taken in a carry-on bag for a flight and not count against your minimal liquids allowance, leaving more space for your lip glosses and moisturizers! Score!!!

If you've never tried LUSH, I challenge you to walk into a LUSH store and see if you walk out empty handed! The products are amazing and though I don't like everything they sell, there are very few that I wouldn't buy again. And the great thing about LUSH is that they have shops in just about every country... so there's bound to be one near you!
