Trend Spotting: White Hot!

White is huge for Spring and Summer and nearly every designer showed several white lovelies in their Spring 2011 Ready to Wear collections! So if you bought the perfect white jeans for summer last year, don't give them to Good Will cause you're gonna need them! The runways were full of everything to prim and proper ladylike frocks to power suits to casual separates, all in white!

I love the way that many of these looks traipsed down the runway with either colorful, metallic or black shoes! There's nothing more classic than a full-skirted white dress with black patent heels! And nothing pumps up the glamor on a white outfit like a bright colored pair of fabulous shoes, whether they be sexy red shoes or something less traditional like royal blue! Metallic shoes take any white outfit from day to night with the right amount of bling and nothing cries out for statement jewelry like a plain white dress! There are so many ways to wear this trend!

I love to wear white with turquoise jewelry and a great pair of turquoise patent cork wedge sandals I bought a few years ago. For dressier occasions, I have a great pair of floral denim Jessica Simpson (I know, but they're cute so don't judge!) pumps with a yellow or turquoise patent bag (both of which I got for great prices at Aldo!)
