Heavy Metal at Jenny Packham Fall 2011 RTW Show

Jenny Packham is a wonderful designer and a red carpet darling of many celebrities including Taylor Swift who has worn her designs time and time again. For Fall Packham has shown a gorgeous collection of metallic dresses, tunics with cut-out leggings and gorgeous dresses in nude and pewter tones. These dresses for the most part are what I would call safe and edgy, an oxy-moron, I know. The dresses speak for themselves and while there might be a bit of edge to them, they require little to no accessorizing and really compliment the female form. The models on the runway all had soft hair and minimal make-up with little to no accessories. It's a gorgeous look for a night out or a red carpet and I expect it's possible some of these dresses might make a run down the red carpet on Oscar night. Enjoy!
