Product Review: LUSH Happy Bloomin Bath Melt

My husband knows when he's stuck for a gift idea for me that he can never go wrong with a gift box from LUSH. It's simply one of my favorite shops in the world and their products are almost always amazing! Also, if you store their bath goodies in a basket in your bathroom, they serve as an air freshener as well! That's what I call killing two birds with one stone!

For Christmas I received the Think Pink box. Hubby had gotten it for me before, but again, I can't stress enough how you can never have too many of these luxurious bath and body treats so I was more than happy to get it! This time however, there was a product in the gift that I hadn't previously seen before, the Happy Bloomin Bath Melt!

The Happy Bloomin Bath Melt is actually good for 3 baths and smells amazing when you hold it in your hand, however I wasn't as amazed by this products as I usually am by LUSH goods. I found the bath melt didn't really melt well, but that problem was easily solved by rubbing it through my fingers under hot water. I also didn't get the usual beautiful pink bath water I've come to expect from LUSH or the amazing aroma surrounding me.

It wasn't until after I got out of the bath that I realized the power of the Happy Bloomin Bath Melt! My skin was so soft and moisturized! This is an amazingly soothing product for dry winter skin! It's great for a general dry-skin maintenance bath, but if its a bath fit for the senses of a queen you're seeking, definitely stick to the bath ballistics or the bubble bars! They are much more theatrical than the Happy Bloomin Bath Melt. My favorites include Dragon's Egg, Sex Bomb and Titsy Totsy, but they have so many to chose from!

Also, if you're looking for a Valentine's gift for someone, be it male or female, old or young, you might consider a gift from LUSH. They have products for men and women and I have found in the past, little kids love the bath ballistics cause they're fizzy and turn your bath water funky colors! Especially with the chilly weather everyone is having, who wouldn't love the gift of a pampering, fun bath!?
