Last Night at Chateau Marmont is the latest novel by celebrated author Lauren Weisberger. For those of you who don't recognize her name, she penned The Devil Wears Prada as well as two other books Everyone Worth Knowing and Chasing Harry Winston.

Last Night at Chateau Marmont is about Brooke and Julian Alter, a young married couple who have the perfect relationship, but are struggling financially in an effort to get Julian discovered as a musician in New York City. When it finally happens and fame is thrust upon them, their lives and their marriage are turned upside down and they are forced to make a choice as to how to carry on if they're going to survive the celebrity life roller coaster.

This is my 2nd favorite book by Lauren Weisberger, second to Everyone Worth Knowing. Last Night... starts off slowly, but it really gets interesting about 1/2 way through and stays exciting right to the very end. What makes it really great (and what makes Everyone Worth Knowing my favorite) is her insight into celebrity life. We all read tabloids and about the newest beauty tips, but in Weisberg's novels, I often read about things I didn't know about being in the public eye.

Last Night at Chateau Marmont is a fun, quick read. It's the perfect beach or snowed in and no place to go book! I highly recommend it as I think most of my readers will enjoy it!
