NYFW: The Steven Alan Spring 2012 Collection Brings Back the Down Home Summer Look

There's something about Steven Alan's Spring 2012 collection that reminds me of my Southern home and the wonderful summers I spent there growing up. The ginghams, simple day dresses and all-around picnic feel of this collections really speaks to my fried chicken eating Southern soul! I just love it! To me, there's nothing more stylish or sexier than a pretty girl in a simple, but cute dress, a pair of sandals and loose, natural hair. It's just a gorgeous look!

This color blocking look is fabulous! I love the way these pastel colors compliment each other... it reminds me of rainbow sherbet!
