Pink Julep at the Cinema: Red Riding Hood

I was excited to see Red Riding Hood since I am a fan of Amanda Seyfried, Billy Burke, Gary Oldman and Julie Christie. This film is also directed by Catherine Hardwicke who directed Twilight so I had great expectations! I have to say, that while the film was great Saturday night fun, it wasn't nearly as good as I expected. I would describe this film as a guilty pleasure. It's not that great, but it's fun! The story line is clever, the sets and costumes are beautiful and the music is fun. Also, eye candy is not bad either! I'd definitely recommend seeing Red Riding Hood with only one warning: keep your expectations low and you'll have a great time!
