Lunch Ya'll!

One of our favorite stops on our lowcountry honeymoon was Paula Deen's The Lady & Sons restaurant. It was exactly what you would expect from Paula- huge portions, lots of butter, and DELICIOUS! We went there for lunch and by the time our entrees came out, we were stuffed! We joked that we paid for "the experience" because we barely finished our meals!

The amazing sweet tea and biscuits they bring to you right away. The top is a cheesy biscuit that was sooo good with hot sauce. The "bread girl" suggested adding the hot sauce, and I first looked at her like she was crazy, but decided to give it a shot. Ohhh my.. yum yum! The bottom was a potatoe pancake- and there is syrup on the table for this appetizer. What?! A pancake before your meal? I wasn't complaining though :o)

Fried Green Tomatoes! To me this is a must when in the South. You don't find these up here! These were so yummy and we pretty much made a meal out of them!

Here are our entrees. Lance had a pulled pork burger and I had the crab cake sandwich. The few bites we had were awesome! The rest went into a to-go box that we ended up giving to a homeless man who was really hungry. He definitely enjoyed a great meal!!


One of the best parts of my meal - the sweet tea! I wish tea was a bigger hit up here in the North! I mean, we have tea, but nothing like in the South! :o)
